Welcome Message

In light of the unfolding COVID-19 pandemic, the Future of Work: People, Safety, Culture conference has been postponed. It will now take place 10-11 November 2020 at the Hilton, Brisbane. Whilst a large majority of this conference program had been finalised, we will utilise this opportunity to adapt the program so that it reflects crisis management lessons learnt from this recent pandemic. This will be in addition to the informative and educational themes already planned to ensure your workplaces reflect the highest levels of health and safety.

We will look forward to serving our health and safety community with a unique two-day learning platform that will compile expert and leading figures from Australia and beyond. Future of Work: People, Safety, Culture will recognise that safety has already changed beyond PPE and statistics. People make people safe. Workplace culture helps determine the health, safety and wellbeing environment.

On behalf of the NSCA Foundation team, the Directors and our membership community I encourage you to attend this leading workplace health and safety event. Whether you are an experienced safety professional with decades of experience, a HR professional looking to impact the wellbeing of your colleagues, a business leader who wants to improve organisational culture or relatively new to the WHS space looking to absorb the knowledge that will further your career – this conference will provide you with new tools and new connections to improve your performance.

Safe regards,
Jamie Burrage
